Asperger and ray and reindeer
Perhaps some of us in the asperger group will meet to grill sausages outdoors tomorrow. We haven’t seen each other since before christmas. Some things.
One, the weather is crazy. Yesterday it was -21 C (-5.8 F). Tomorrow it’s supposed to be 5 C (41 F). On the other hand it’s nicer to be outdoors when it’s 5 C than it’s -21.
Two. They say that the Siberian jay (Perisoreus infaustus) is a really curious bird that likes to show up and study people who are out in the woods grilling. That’s why I want to bring beyond sausages to grill over the open fire. Then later we can do the same with ordinary sausages and see if the siberian jay is more or less likely to show up if you grill ordinary sausages. What smells best for birds.
Three. The weird weather is really bad for the herding of the semi-domesticated reindeer. Even the BBC has written a piece about that. That’s relevant since the Sami-people are associated with reindeer herding. And three people in the AS group are partly Sami. That was a surprise when I was sitting at a table and realized I was the only one who didn’t have any Sami root. Then, when it comes to the climate catastrophe there are worse things than losing the reindeer industry that can happen to a country. (Not saying it’s not sad for the people losing their reindeer.)
