Last friday I got my first dose of the vaccine. I got the vaccine from the company with a brand name starting on M. Since there’s a publishing house called “Modernista”, I mixed up the pharma company with the publishing company and almost told people I had gotten “Modernistas vaccin”. I got it because of a law from three decades ago that gives people with disorders the right to assistance and contact persons. Since I have ASD and a contact person, and those contact persons have contact with a lot of clients, that’s in their job title, we got prioritised. Another thing, the vaccination was in a clinic I have never visited before. When I said I didn’t know there the clinic was, people told me it’s next to the Mormon church. Yeah, why do you think I know there the Mormon church is? Sure perhaps you want to know that I didn't get any side effects from this first shoot.
Then last tuesday my youngest niece turned two years old. She’s cute and funny. Likes to sing. Apparently knows at least some words to Let it go. But as the old saying goes, there are uncontacted tribes in the Amazon that know that. It’s a natural step in children's development, a minstole like: smiling, crawling, first words ... Her older sister turns five quite soon and someone - I śuspect her dad - has introduced her to the Crazy frog version of Axel F. So she plays that video now and then. I’m sure you’re happy that I in this way reminded you that Crazy frog was a thing. Then this is something that’s worth an entry of its own, but I’m not the guy who writes long entries. One doesn't want them to grow up, because of all the hardship and pain you get through growing up.
Last one could write one more pandemic related thing. At least the local health authorities recommend single use surgical masks. Yeah, recommend, it’s not the law, but the joke still is that I as a concerned citizen should call the police on the people who like their cloth things, especially next time one of those decides to stand just 0.5 m behind me in a queue. What society needs is not trust, but squealing. Also I think the recommendations should be none controversial. But as the world is today, someone will be able to come up with a straw man showing that the recommendations means Sweden doesn't take it seriously and therefore is anti-science and fascist.
