It took time to write, lets post it
I’m not sure what a Karen is, but I saw the word “Karens” used by a Swedish twitter user (in Swedish). I’m going to say it’s American cultural imperialism, America spreading the concept of Karen to the world.
Then, even more weird, I also saw that word "Karens" in this article: Why did the world lose it’s nerves. Yes that article is about the pandemic (the pandemic that may or may not be the reason I have lost some friends here).
Okay, it's difficult to not write about the pandemic. While the restrictions aren't fun, it’s almost like the media debate is affecting me more than anything else with covid. I'm being selfish while writing about my own feelings. It was the same after september 11, one had to avoid the media since it just gave one angst. But back in the 00s we at least didn't had social media. Now we have and have people who seems to think this is pneumonic plague and Spanish flu at the same time.
Now we will have a long hard fall and winter until spring takes the virus away again. I just realized we have to hope that "the Swedish strategy" (that may or may not be WHO's old strategy) is wrong. One point with sticking to things like physical distansing and handwarshing was that it's supposly more sutanible than the more populistic, authoritarian things like "lockdowns". If many, most, countries have already exhausted themselves with "non sutanible", draconian rules, and we now have six month until March ... that doesn’t sound good. No, I don’t think it will be so bad as I made it sound. I definitive don’t think that all countries in the world will end up with the same high mortality, (but low mortality in one illness, that's kill old and multisick - it's not pneumonic plague or Spanish flu, isn't the only thing that's important in a society).

It can also just be an entitled, middle-aged white woman.
