oakfarmYou know it’s a quarter century since Clinton said the words: “Alles ist möglich, Berlin ist frei” “Everything is possible, Berlin is free”, that was 1994. Another thing I remember from a quarter century ago is that my town had ethanol buses back when*. The thing is that a free Berlin and ethanol buses apparently wasn't enough to save the world. Global warming and other problems are worse now.
I have had some really bad days. And the fact that both the world and this country have problems is a part of it. Weird how good times in life seems to be connected to how good or bad it is in the world. That was meant to be an joking observation about how I as a middle age man thinks the whole world goes down with me.
* For the record the town now has electric busses instead, plus our compostable household trash is processed into biogas, fulling the busses in our neighboring town. Biogas and electricity seems to be better than ethanol.
