1. After your first language, what language would you most like to learn? (Say first language too)
To learn a language is a very, very demanding thing to do. And there are so many language I think it should be fun to know. Mandarin, Hindi, European languages like French, Italian, Russian ...
2. Does your country have a second language? What is it?
No. But there are some official minority languages, the largest being Finnish.
3. How many languages can you count to 5 in? To 10 in? List them.
Three: Swedish, English, German. I can count to three in Finnish. Everyone here can count to three in Finnish, but I don’t think anyone here can count to five or ten. Half a million in Sweden have Finnish background, but I wonder if even they know what come after yksi, kaksi, kolme (1,2,3)? Btw way, the numbers must be the same in Yiddish and German I could add Yiddish, and get four. But maybe that’s cheating. (Also we understand the counting words in Danish and Norwegian.)
4. What is the first overseas country you visited? And from where? (ie/ timbuctoo to mars)
UK, I was three and remember the boats in Cambridge.
5. What country do you most want to visit? And why?
Just like with language there are so many. But to just take one: Ukraine to see how they live and see the country.
