I have been complaining a lot. I have my sorrows. Things are hopeless. At the same time, there are some good things that happened like the movie and the temporary job I had. For fun's sake i will argue that it is due to a romani blessing. See, one sign that things are returning to normal is that the other day I was approached and followed by one of the romani-rumanian beggars (didn’t give her anything). They have been around so long they even learned Swedish, making me think that if you’re functional enough to learn a forigen language, you have no excuse for begging. (Hope the last didn’t sound judging, I don’t know how it is to be romani in Romania.)

But that wasn’t what I was going to write about. It, however, made me remember another encounter. One time, years ago, I did buy some food for one of those beggars, and - and this was weird enough for me to remember - she didn’t just say “thank you” she also took my hand and kissed it. Yep, for me strange enough to remember. Could that have been a blessing and those good things in my life came from that? And do I have to add what was a joke? I don’t think romani people are magic. Edit: or maybe it was more of a referene to the Stephen King book/movie about a romani curse.
