 Well I say I have been influenced by the debate about covid. And yeah, of course, this is part of it.

 

For various reasons, the debate became very unpleasant. Bullying, finger pointing, shaming, herd thinking, a lack of humbelness, despite the fact it at the moment looks like no country,  beside some outlines, is doing well. Competition between countries, a competition that is always about who had the lowest infection rate, not a competition, for example, who did most for the children. They say that while the Spanish flu led to more democracy in the world, covid-19 leads to progress for authoritarian regimes.
