Congratulations to the UN!
75 years today*!

You were very popular here when I was growing up. You still are, but it was something with being a child in a small, neutral country, at the end of the cold war that made us aware that the UN, solidarity and peace was big things.

*Ok, I’m a little confused, but apparently they are celebrating today, even if it wasn’t until the 24 october 1945 enough countries had signed the agreement to start the work.
