There are time then I am ashamed of being Swedish. Like when I see women in niqab. When the media repport a political youth group har been taken over by islamists. And when, this morning I learned that a guy had been shoten in his leg, in my neighbourhood.

I don't understand why seeing a woman in a niqab would make you feel ashamed to be Swedish? What's the connection?

I find it sad. Perhaps not scary in the way a gunshot is. But sad, nothing to be proud of.
In the end, this might just be a normal Western European country. No better, no worse.
