That's lagom

Can not help but comment the election. My party had the worst election since universal suffrage was introduced. But they also stayed the largest party, with quite a good marginal. So, not great work, not good work, but acceptable work everyone. Now it’s just the little detail it will be almost impossible to form a government.

To show how much of a coward I am. I don’t dare to tell people I know that I would prefer we did like Germany, and had a colantion between the social democratic and center-right party. I feel everyone I know are so left wing they would be angry or disappointed with me. Not sure I making myself clear. But I don’t really know what else to say than those three sentence.

One last thing. The green party was the only small party that did badly. Perhaps surprising, I don’t care too much about that. For one thing, if we are optimistic, they have aready done their dury. Have you seen the claim that the reason liberal and social democratic parties are doing badly* in Europe is that they won? Their historical mission was to give us modern democracy respective the welfare state. We have that, great work! You’re, however, not needed anymore. I like to pretend it’s the same with the green party. Their historical mission was to tell us that global warming is an existential threat. Now everyone - perhaps except the far right - agree. Great work. Mission accomplished!

* But, yeah, here they are still the largest party.
